Community Mobilisation

GPSVS has organised right and issue-based awareness programmes among women. Women groups are taking action against social evils, e.g., dowry, child marriage, domestic violence, alcoholism and atrocities of women within the family and society.

The members of the groups have been orientated for savings and credit practices and trained for minimising the flood devastation through capacity development activities. The women representatives of the panchayats have been imparted training for the smooth functioning of the panchayats.

Legal literacy programmes for women and Dalits was organised on regular basis. Right-based awareness activities are organised for poor and defenceless women.
